About the print:
Created during the quarantine and in time of social distancing, this study done with Alberto’s drawing process " Cyan-Magenta-Orange " explores the life and energy of the tool of the tools, the hand, who has his own language. With his method, we can feel the movement created from all those colored sketchy lines merging together.
The original drawing was created with a ballpoint pen using " C-M-O " technique, and to draw level with the screenprinting process, Alberto drawn each color separatly.
About the artist:
Alberto Russo (Sting) is an italian painter and ballpoint pen artist living near Lausanne, Switzerland. He studied graphic design at the Ecole Romande d’Arts Graphiques and founded in 2000, his own studio AREA DESIGN. Between 2000 and 2015, he illustrated numerous covers for swiss music artists like Stress or Sens Unik and created art for clients like Nike, Puma or Absolut. Since 2015, he focuses his work on "abstract realism" drawings and paintings.
